Cheryl shares her involvement in the Rochester community as an AIDS advocate at a local agency. She describes the process of her getting involved and how she learned about the study. Cheryl makes a compelling plea for women and men to get involved in the local vaccine effort.
David is a college student concerned about saving lives. He has researched how vaccines work and how viruses work. He would like to share with you why it was important for him to volunteer.
Lisa describes the atmosphere and her comfort level while interacting with the staff. Lisa tells a story of her family and friends and their response to her involvement with this important research study. She also describes her physical response to the injections.
